Just a week ago, our family. – my Nanay, his Daddy and his youngest brother paid us a visit here in Malaysia. I was surprised by how confident they were to go overseas, knowing that all of them are first timers!
It was actually a long-planned trip, a gift for our loved ones. So, after our trip in the Philippines last April, we’ve already booked them a flight via Airasia, and since the planned trip is in September, lucky us that we got them a cheap flight. *wink!
A week or two before their flight, we’ve already been planning our itinerary and allocated budget. Of course knowing us, we always opt for a budget-friendly but comfy travels.
Here’s our sample itinerary:
Day 0: Sept 15 (Friday)
Arrival
- Lunch at KLIA2 (PappaRich)
- KLIA 2 to Pearl Suria Residence
- 4:00 PM Pearl Suria Residence to KL Sentral
- KL Sentral to Bukit Bintang – dinner
- Bukit Bintang – dinner to Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC
- KLCC to Pearl Suria Residence

As often, we booked our accommodation in Airbnb which we got the whole, fully furnished unit for just RM163.33 / night! ~ RM163.33 x 3 nights = RM627.76 in total.
It is in Pearl Suria Residence by the way. It is highly recommended for families but not those individual who are really on a tight budget I would say. It is location-wise when it comes to groceries, restaurants and shopping mall. But a bit too far from tourist areas.
Not bad though. Look at our home for few days! + WiFi and Netflix provided.
